Author Guidelines
General Principles
Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pelayanan Kebidanan Indonesia (Indonesian Journal of Education and Midwifery Care) receives various articles/manuscript in the form of relevant original research, case reports, and obstetrics meta-analysis. This Journal only accepts original manuscript and has not been published in other journals, or is being sent to other journals at the same time, by signing a statement. If the article has been published in another journal, the next edition will be disallowed. The lead author must ensure that all co-authors have read and approved the submitted manuscript. The selection of manuscripts contained in the Indonesian Journal of Education and Midwifery Care using a peer-reviewed system. All accepted manuscripts will be discussed by experts in the field of scholarship in accordance with the editorial board. Manuscripts that require improvements in formatting or substance are returned to the author to be fixed. The research manuscripts sent to Indonesian Journal of Education and Midwifery must already meet the ethical feasibility or research aspects that can be accounted for.
Writing Technique
The manuscript can be written in Indonesian or English. Scriptwriting in the Indonesian language should meet the standard rules in accordance with the enhanced Indonesian General Guidelines and the General Guidelines for the Use of Terms. Writing in English is recommended to get the English editing service before the script is inserted into the journal. The script is typed using 1spasi on A4 paper, Times New Roman letter size 11. Distance format from the left edge, upper right, and bottom edge 3 cm. Maximum page count is 12 pages max. Early paragraphs are made indented. The abbreviation for the first time appears in the text, to be followed by the extension. Each page is numbered sequentially starting from the title page to the last page. Articles are submitted in the form of 1 hardcopy file, soft copy (CD) written file name and program used on CD label, accompanied by a letter of submission of the article. Systematic writing should meet the following requirements:
Title page
The title page contains the title of the article, the author's name with the full title, the author's affiliate institution, name and correspondence address, phone number, facsimile number, and e-mail address. The title of the article is brief and clear in both Indonesian and English.
Abstracts and Keywords
Abstracts for each manuscript are written in Indonesian and English in one paragraph with a maximum of 200 words for Indonesian and 250 words for English. The abstract is written concisely and clearly according to the format of introduction, methods, result, and discussion (IMRAD). The arrangement of keywords alphabetically selected 3-5 words
Table
Table arranged in sequence with a maximum number of tables 6 pieces. Each table should be numbered and a short title according to the sequence of mention in the script. Add explanations and quotes to table descriptions, not to table titles.
Photos / Images
Photos / Images arranged sequentially with the number of photos/images up to 6 pieces. Images of people who may be identified may be accompanied by written permission. When images are obtained from other sources/people or in the form of published illustrations, they should be given a reference. The serial number and title of the image should be written according to the appearance in the script.
Acknowledgments
Acknowledgments (if any) can be given to research contributors without writing a degree.
References
References are written according to the Vancouver writing rules, numbered according to appearances in the script, not alphabetically. The number of referrals maximum 20, quoted for the maximum period of 10 years. The names of all authors are listed if the number is not more than 6 persons, if more, write the name of the first 6 people then et al. Referrals sought 80% sourced from journals and a maximum of 20% textbooks. Referrals from papers already submitted for publication, but not yet published may be used as references with "in press" descriptions. The author attaches the front page of the journal, the front page of the chapter, and the front page of the book used, arranged after the numbering sequence.
